I believe this is the book our social workers get. But isn't it a fun idea to be ahead of our social workers with new information when we go to see them ? Just a little empowerment for us !

I am just so very grateful that i am NOT a social worker.... My social security does not allow us to have much of anything. I am just grateful that our house is paid for. The fact that it is so very far to walmart /100 miles each way/ for shopping or other services.

I am setting up a web page for shopping, news, and even games for the kids. I will be posting it here to share with all who shop on line. I am doing a lot more of on line shopping than i used to. I have a lot of my christmas shopping started for the girls, and that is the most expensive of course.... Have a great day....          You are right , of course ! There are many social workers who really do care and try so hard to help their clients. After having gone through 7 social workers myself , I feel like my current worker is a winner. My last worker wanted me to call her Mrs.___________ , yet she called me by my first name. This was a little strange as I was 20 years older than she was. This new worker calls me Ms. ____________ . To me this makes a lot of difference as it shows respect.

One of my dearest friends is a co-worker that works for a national organization in my area. She also cares.

So, it isn't right to group all workers together . I hope that the one's that need some work follow the good examples set by the others !

I cant say all social workers are incapable of their jobs, becaue that is untrue. There are some who are so devoted to the people they serve they do all they can to make sure families are able to function on their own one the case is closed.

A social worker took my grand children from their  mother when they were small. Now a number of years later, Moms health has improved and the children love thier mom and they know that mom loves them more than life itself. She does have boundries and rules like all moms; as it should be.. That part of the family has discovered  unconditional love. Creating and keeping relationships in a positive mode is often difficult with out help from others; such as social workers who can create a "time out" zone for all....

Not for forget the SSworkers are very over loaded with work, no matter what town or state they are in............................. No i am not a social worker, just a lot of life experience......................................................  Cherokeeladeyaz
